13 oz Vinyl Material Banner Construction

Esigns.com uses 13 ounce vinyl for the production of its Banners, providing the additional strength needed for added support and extended life while ensuring that your vinyl sign remains cost effective and will be easy to manage & store. 

In order to save production costs, some banner companies tend to use 10oz vinyl for the production of vinyl signs. The overall strenght of this lighter material tears much easier adn will reduce the overall life of your banner.

Some companies advertise the use of 16 to 18oz vinyl material which is far too heavy for traditional business banner sign applications. 16 to 18 oz banner material is most often used for street banners and the additional weight offers no benefits for normal commercial usage.

Printed With Semi-Solvent CMYKLcLm Inks

All of our banners are digitally printed with Semi Solvent inks that are rated for outdoor UV sunlight environment for up to 5 years. These inks provide bright and vivid colors and enable us to produce photo quality vinyl signs with almost no graphic design limitations.

Banners are Waterproof & Weatherproof

All of the banners we produce are waterproof and will last for long periods of time outdoors with proper installation. Remember to protect your banner from high winds as they will get torn. If you are placing your banner in a high wind environment, the use of Bungee cords opposed to ropes will allow your banner to expand and contract ensuring that the likely hood of your banner getting ripped will be drastically reduced.

Hemmed Edges For Better Reinforcement

Quality Vinyl Banners require hemming to reinforce the edges of the banner. Hems provide the additional strength to your vinyl banner sign at critical points - around the edges and on every corner there grommets are set. It is twice as hard to pull apart hemmed banner as a simple cutout sign without any hems. All banners made at Esigns include hems on all 4 sides.

Nickel Grommets for Hanging Your Banner

Vinyl banners require grommet holes to enable the user to hang their banner. Through the metal Grommet hole you can hang your banner on a wall, fence, or run a string through the grommet and hang it literally anywhere.

At Esigns all banners comes with Nickel Grommets on every corner as well as every 2-3 feet on top and on the bottom. We punch grommets over reinforced hemmed edges for added sign strength and durability.
