Outdoor Yard Signs Made From Corrugated Coroplast

Resembling corrugated cardboard, Coroplast is made from plastic. Made by using twin walls of plastic that is separated by corrugated flutes, the coroplastic material will hold up in all types of bad weather and will endure for years. These signs are usually printed on both sides and are displayed using an “H” shaped wire stand that is inserted into plastic flutes. Corrugated yard sings are very easy to install and set up charges to make them are inexpensive and are the most economical sign available in small quantities. Buying in large volume makes the prices go down, making them competitive with other types of cheap lawn signs. Coroplast's main product is the corrugated plastic sheet. Your imagination is the limit when using this plastic sheet as the building material that will serve so many functions.

Coroplast comes in a variety of styles and colors, all based upon the Coroplast high quality corrugated plastic sheet. The standard sheet has been treated to allow for excellent adhesion quality to aid in printing for the graphics arts fields. It is also extremely durable because it is waterproof and resistant to stains and most chemicals. These yard signs are virtually indestructible and are printed on weather-resistant corrugated 4mm plastic. Corrugated bandit signs have unique advantages over other types of yard signs. They are easier to store and install and do not require tools for installation. They are printed with UV ink and will last for years.

Using a copolymer resin allows the increased impact and lower temperature performance. With a NIL pH factor, the sheet is chemically inert. At regular temperatures most solvents, water and oils have zero effect, enabling it to perform under extreme weather conditions or as a product component exposed to abrasive and harsh chemicals.

The Coroplast twinwall profile sheets can be changed with additives, which are then melt-blended into the sheet to meet the specific needs of the end result. Different products that require additives include: UV protection, flame retardant, custom colors, anti-static, corrosive inhibitors, static-dissipative, etc.

Throughout the sign industry, Coroplast is known for having a consistent high quality printable surface. Coroplast’s reputation allows it the recognition of being the material supplied through the largest number of plastics and sign supply distributors in the United States and Canada.

The first known corrugated material was in 1856 when a sweatband used as a liner in hats was patented. By the late 1890s, cardboard soon followed and was used by Wells Fargo in packaging. Once plastics were developed through the petroleum industry, corrugated plastics soon followed. They have been a mainstay of the outdoor/indoor sign industry ever since.
