CONSTRUCTION
Custom magnetic signs are made from durable magnetic material with either a digital print or cut vinyl. Magnetic Signs are sold in pairs and are offered in a variety of sizes – when choosing your size make sure that the magnetic will lay flat against the body of your vehicle and not over any trim. Rounded corners help keep your magnet attached to the vehicle.
DURABILITY
Custom magnetic signs have a life of up to 5 years with proper care. Removing the magnetic signs weekly and cleaning with a mild detergent is recommended. Clean both sides to avoid dirt collecting between the magnetic and the surface. When your custom magnetic signs are not being used, the best way to store them is to keep them flat.
SET-UP / INSTALLATION
Care of your custom magnetic signs is very important. Before you apply your magnetic signs the surface should be clean and dry. Waxing your vehicle before applying will also help avoid scratches. Make sure when you put them on that they are laying flat against the vehicle. If you need to reposition the magnetic signs, remove them completely from the surface and put them back on in the correct position. Do not use on newly painted surfaces.

Start by choosing your custom magnetic sign size. As you mouse over each size the price will be shown. Adding text to your custom magnetic sign is easy. Simply click on the Add Text button located in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Type your wording in the pop-up box, and choose your typestyle from the drop down menu. Once you click on add text, you will see your words appear on the custom magnetic sign with three small graphics underneath. Clicking on the first graphic will open up the text formatting. The middle graphic will allow you to put an outline around your lettering to make it stand out and the right-hand graphic lets you change the color of your text.
To add clipart, go to the drop-down menu on the far left (under the cliparts heading) and choose the category of art you are looking for. When you’ve selected the art you want to use, you can move it into place on the screen, and arrange it with your text.
To use your logo, click on the File Upload button on the left side and follow the instructions. All uploads must be in .png or .jpg format. You can also use this to upload personal pictures you may want to use on your custom magnetic sign.
Clicking and dragging on any of the little black handles surrounding an item can resize both text and graphics. Holding down the control key (Ctrl) while resizing the object, will make your graphic or text resize in proportion to the original size. In the left-hand toolbar there’s buttons to rotate, flip or size your graphics. Located at the bottom of the toolbar are 2 green arrows that will take you through the different steps you took in creating your custom magnetic sign. Don’t like how it’s looking? Just click the green back arrow until you’ve gone back to the last step you liked and start over!
If you don’t have time to finish your custom magnetic sign or want to show it to someone else before you order, click on the save button to save your custom magnetic sign. When you come back to our site you can load your custom magnetic sign by entering your email address and clicking on the magnifying glass and selecting the project you want to view.
