A MESSAGE FROM THE BANNER BARON
I’ll be the first to admit that Presidents’ Day is sort of a manufactured holiday but so many consumers and so many retailers look forward to it that I thought we should do our part to make it special. So as we remember the patriotism and service of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, let’s take a look at some of the “achievements” of a few of the other Oval office residents. Millard Fillmore was the first President to enjoy running water in the White House. Rutherford B. Hayes was the first President to use a telephone. His phone number was “1”. Chester A. Arthur owned 80 pairs of pants, and changed them several times a day. And Warren G. Harding gambled away a set of White House china! So as you prepare for Presidents’ Day sales events, we hope you’ll remember our fearless leaders—and these offers from eSigns. By the way, in my opinion, it’s better to be a Baron than the President. You can pick where you live and the job comes with your choice of a scepter or a robe. Says so in my contract.
