A MESSAGE FROM THE BANNER BARON
“A ship is safe in harbor. But that’s not what ships are for.”
This single quote from an American theologian named William G. T. Shedd has done more to shape my life and career than just about any other secular message I’ve ever read. It is brilliant in its simplicity and serves to simultaneously inspire and challenge people to explore their seemingly endless options.
As a serial entrepreneur, my willingness to take calculated risks has served me well. I have “sailed my ship” on a variety of courses and encountered fair winds and foul weather. Calm seas and treacherous tides. But I’ve enjoyed every journey, even when I was getting soaked.
My message today is timed to coincide with advent of tax season. It’s intended to remind us all that we live in a country that promotes and rewards ingenuity and enterprise, and that paying taxes, even through a less than perfect system, helps support an economic environment like no other on this planet.
I’m highlighting three different eSigns.com products this week, each distinctly different in its design and utility. Hopefully, your business or your latest project can use one of them. If not, maybe next week’s specials will be right for you.
Go sailing today, intrepid sailor, but please stay the course with eSigns.com. OK, that’s all the nautical stuff I know.
