A friend of mine just bought a new car and experienced what could genuinely be described as exceptional service. Really over-the-top good. But there was one unsettling aspect. The salesman pestered my pal about giving them a stellar review online and suggested that he do the same thing when the factory followed up by phone. He was going to do it anyway, but the fact that they asked him, in a begging, cajoling sort of way, for not only a positive review, but a PERFECT SCORE, hit him the wrong way.
