Indoor Pole Banners, printed on 2 sides, are finished with Pole Pockets on top and bottom and no grommets for a clean look. They are double-sided, printed on supersmooth 13 oz. no-curl vinyl, and are along the lines of what you'd see in a restaurant, coffee house, or other dining establishment. Often, they've got vertical layouts and hang from windows, advertising both inside and out.
Outdoor Pole Banners, printed on 2 sides of our 18 oz. premium vinyl, are available in nearly all of our regular vinyl banner sizes and also come with pole pockets on top and bottom and grommets in all four corners within the pocket hem. This allows them to be hung differently, depending on your need, or even to act as a parade banner for your organization to march behind, just by holding onto the top pole.
Single Sided Pole Banners, print on 1 side of our 13 oz. vinyl, are available in nearly all of our regular vinyl banner sizes and also come with pole pockets on top and bottom and grommets in all four corners within the pocket hem. This allows them to be mounted in various ways, depending on your needs, and can be used as a parade banner for your organization to march behind, just by holding onto the top pole.
If you are uploading a print-ready design, please create your artwork to reflect the finished size of the pole banner. We will make any necessary adjustments for the hem & pockets.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two ways to discuss pole pocket sizes:
1. The diameter of the pole over which the pocket will fit, or
2. The flat-measure size of the pocket from the edge of the material to the seam.
Our default Pocket size is 3" Flat-Measure. This will fit over a 1" Diameter pole.
If you require a special pole pocket size, please write in the desired pocket size, OR the diameter of the pole it needs to fit on in the Notes of your order, and we will be happy to accommodate your request. Examples of how to enter notes for an order may be found here.
Below is a chart showing coordinating pocket sizes and pole diameters.
If you need to calculate a different pocket size, and you know the pole diameter, use this formula: (([π, Pi] 3.14 × the Diameter of the pole) + 2" for slack and sewing) ÷ 2 = Pocket size. Fractions always round up to the nearest inch.
For example, to calculate pocket size for a 2"-diameter pole:
3.14 × 2 = 6.28 + 2 = 8.28 ÷ 2 = 4.14" which rounds up to be a 5"-flat-measure pocket.
